Some ...Well I remember those horrible winters now! Some quick tips that helped me:
1.Don't use hot water but rather lukewarm.
2.I used to lather on baby oil on my whole body after I shower while my skin was still wet. Then towel dry to seal in moisture.
3. Don't be afraid to use petroleum jelly on problem areas: I would not use it on the face since I think it can clog pores, but I had friends that just before jogging would slather on some Vaseline on their face.
4. Choose oils for your face with care because not all oils are appropriate for the face. Instead, look for "nonclogging" oils, like avocado oil, mineral oil, primrose oil, or almond oil. Shea oil -- or butter -- is controversial, because it can clog facial pores. You don't want the oil to just sit on your face.
5. I would used a moisturizer from Neutrogena called Neutrogena - Ageless Essentials® Continuous Hydration Night because my skin would absorb it quickly, and I didn't look greasy but rather with supple skin.
6. If you can, try to invest on a humidifier to keep the humidity in your home higher during the winter.Heaters including space heaters can strip all the moisture in the air, drying up your skin more than usual.

Hope this works!Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12656941038497334862noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5020387939644343112.post-70404923282745826442011-12-27T10:01:59.649-08:002011-12-27T10:01:59.649-08:00I'm right there with you, Anna! It also does not help that I break out VERY easily, so I really have to be careful about what I put on my face. I will be interested to see what others have to say.Katyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06673189086874824209noreply@blogger.com
